Newborn
Newborn photography is a once in a lifetime experience as your child will change and grow in the blink of an eye.
These sessions typically occur withing the first 6-15 days. Whether you have a planned C-section, being induced, or delivering naturally we pre-book based off your scheduled date or due date. Once baby officially arrives, if the tentative date needs to be adjusted we absolutely can!
Depending on the type of session you select it can be performed in the comfort of your own home OR in studio.
For the Deluxe newborn, please allow a minimum of 2.5- 3 hours around the session (in case additional time is needed), and do not schedule any other appointments or commitments during or after this time. I work around your baby and his/her needs, so every newborn session is different. My top priority is your baby's comfort and safety. During this time, baby may need to be fed, soothed, have diaper changed, be cuddled etc – this is why there is no session length. I capture a variety of baby only portraits through various poses utilizing both props, wraps and outfits. I also capture your baby with you, and siblings during my "lifestyle" portion of our session.
We had an amazing session with Arika at Mueller Moments! She asks all the right questions to get you pictures that best fit what you’re looking for and we never felt rushed during our session! She had so much patience when our little girl was trying to stay awake and then needed a quick feeding. The turnaround for our images was impressively fast! Highly recommend if you’re searching for a newborn photographer!
